Known Bugs/FAQ

Bug A long black window appears while flipping in 3D
Solution  Right click on "WinFlip" icon in system tray and click "Options". Then click "Other". Under "Exclusion settings" click "ViStart Start Menu::Closed" and then click "Add to list". Now you will not see the black window.


Bug There is no "Run" button in start menu!
Solution  You can use the search functionality as Run. Try it! (This is not a bug, actually)


Bug There is no "Up" button while I browse my files!
Solution  You can use the "breadcrumbs" addressbar as "Up". Click the previous folder of which you are browsing. This will navigate you to previous directory. (This is not a bug, actually) (You can use this trick in Windows Vista/7 also because there is no "Up" button in Vista/7 too!)


Bug While I use my computer, sometimes Windows Flip 3D is automatically activated! What I should do?
Solution  This is caused if you make a circle with your mouse. Go to WinFlip Options (as shown in first bug) and click on "Mouse". Uncheck "Enable mouse trigger". Alternatively, you can click any other method of flipping with mouse or avoid drawing circles with your mouse.


Bug Some games/fullscreen applications are showing the "Don't Send" dialog while opening them
Solution  Try closing TrueTransparency, WinFlip or ViStart. Most problems may be caused by WinFlip. Try closing WinFlip first.
